Thoughtful gifts to get your boyfriend this Valentine's Day

So you have decided that you have to gift a man in your life something. But doesn’t it drive you crazy at times, when it comes to deciding what to gift people? Be it a father, brother, boyfriend, friend or colleague we got you covered! There are so many options out there but you never seem to find an ideal one and end up buying the same old things over and over again?

If you really want to gift something romantic to him, the best way to do that is by gifting him something that's personalized!!  
Instead of buying that special someone the same old thing like for example, maybe a t-shirt that they make not even wear, why not gift these amazing men in your life with something they can practically use on an everyday basis and something that probably reminds them of you every time they take a look at it? The best tip would be to keep it simple. Think of the one thing he is most passionate about. Then choose something he can use to develop or maintain that passion. It doesn't necessarily have to be a "romantic" gift. You can cover the romance on the card. :)

From personal experience (and lovely ones at that!) I would suggest you add a DIY element to your V Day plans. Something that you make or arrange yourself has a very alluring charm to it and in the presence of love, it doesn't need to be absolutely perfect. Something that says “you” and shows effort from your side, makes your partner feel a more intimate connection with you. This opportunity can be used to open many gates towards paths you could want your relationship to take.

Everyone is different, and this is such a general question, at best it can only be answered with a very general response, and I don't believe any of these are really gender-specific:

1. Something that he's mentioned at some point in passing that he likes/loves, in other words, something that shows you've been paying attention to him.

2. Tickets to an activity that you wouldn't necessarily enjoy but that you know that he would really enjoy. in other words, something that you are obviously doing just for him

3. Make one of his fantasies come true

 4. Leave him a wrapped gift (point #1 above) the day before valentines (or whichever day you choose to celebrate it), tell him he can NOT open it until then

 5. On the morning of valentines (celebration) day, call him (leave the house if you live with him), and tell him he HAS to open his gift RIGHT away, and then hang up.

 6.  When he opens the gift (something he loves), make sure there is a card prominently with the gift, that tells him he HAS to be at a certain hotel, rm XXX, at THIS time (in the afternoon, say 1pm).

 7.  Be waiting for him in the hotel room. in your sexiest lingerie. make  his fantasy come true (point #3 above).

 8.    After spending the afternoon with him in the hotel room, hand him 2 (or more?)  tickets to his favourite sports event going on that evening, telling him he has to meet his best buds at Pub XXX for drinks before heading to the game (of course, you've arranged this in secret with his buds already). (point #2 above).

You are now officially the best girlfriend EVER. :)
